Who knew a Leprechaun hunt could be part of the job? Park Ranger Rusty James created a St. Patrick’s Day themed scavenger hunt for visitors at Lake Rim Park. Park visitors follow a map, find symbols, locate Leprechauns and receive a prize when they return to the Information Center.

The Fayetteville Fire Department recently began its semi-annual fire hydrant servicing that includes placing a fresh coat of paint to ensure clear visibility. Typically conducted later in the year, it was moved to early March to get ahead of the anticipated rising fuel prices.
