Fayetteville Police Department reports overall crime at 10 year low

Drainage improvement project set to begin in Rosewood Terrace Subdivision
Pipeline Utilities, Inc., a contractor, is set to start construction for drainage improvements in the Rosewood Terrace Subdivision. This construction project will improve stormwater management and includes upgrades to water and sewer services by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC).

Loose leaf collection begins Nov. 18
Seasonal loose leaf pickup services in Fayetteville begin on Nov. 18. Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation personnel will use specialized equipment to collect residential loose leaves by zip code. Collection will start with households in the 28306 zip code.

City’s public services team heads to western North Carolina to assist with debris removal
On Oct. 20, employees from the city of Fayetteville’s Street Maintenance and Solid Waste Division will deploy to Hendersonville to assist with debris removal from the impact of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. There will be two deployments.
