The Fayetteville-Cumberland Human Relations Commission has opened nominations for the 2025 Community Awards. They’re seeking out residents and local organizations who are committed to the well-being of others and spreading positive human relations throughout the city and Cumberland County.

City celebrates final phase of FAY terminal renovation
The Fayetteville Regional Airport (FAY) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of phase III renovations today, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. This milestone marks the completion to all main terminal renovations.

Fayetteville Police Department reports overall crime at 10 year low

Drainage improvement project set to begin in Rosewood Terrace Subdivision
Pipeline Utilities, Inc., a contractor, is set to start construction for drainage improvements in the Rosewood Terrace Subdivision. This construction project will improve stormwater management and includes upgrades to water and sewer services by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC).
