Governor Roy Cooper announced April 6 that Fayetteville City Councilwoman Courtney Banks-McLaughlin will serve as a member of the Governor’s Crime Commission (GCC). Banks-McLaughlin joins the chief advisory body to the Governor and to the Secretary of Public Safety on crime and justice issues.

NCDOT is scheduled to begin construction on the Country Club Drive railroad crossing just north of the Murchison Road intersection on Wednesday, April 26. Residents should expect traffic delays when repairs begin. The repairs should be completed in the same day.
