A successful first for the Fayetteville Police Department! The Police Department, City of Fayetteville, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation and USA Boxing hosted the 1st Annual All American Cup Amateur Boxing Event. Kids between the ages of 8-18 years old participated. The September 11 event was sanctioned and held at Seabrook Park. It was free for the community.

“The event was extremely successful and the community has been asking about when we will be having it again,” Police Chief Gina V. Hawkins said. “This provided the community with the opportunity to see youth involved in the discipline of boxing and families coming out to support their athlete.”

The Fayetteville Police Department Police Activity League (PAL) offers multiple sports programs for kids. Sports offered: Boxing, Baseball/Softball, Golf, Soccer and Track. Learn more about the PAL mission here.
