What a way to end a career with the City – a Carolina Panthers themed retirement celebration for Adolph Thomas! Thomas served as a Community Development Administrator in the Economic and Community Development Department. He was hired in June 1998 as a Police Records Clerk. Thomas said he enjoyed his time in City Government.
“I have had a wonderful career working for the City of Fayetteville,” Thomas said. “My first Mayor was J.L. Dawkins. I’ve have the pleasure of working with some amazing City staff members who put their heart and soul into serving the citizens of Fayetteville. I found this to be as rewarding as the 20 plus years I served in the U.S. Army. I thank the leadership of the City and the Economic and Development Department for allowing me the opportunity to serve this community and love it as my own.”
Economic and Community Development Business Manager Michelle Haire says she will miss Thomas. "Adolph is a person that always shows kindness,” Haire said. “He and I started in the department together on November 30, 1998 and he has always been that way from day one. He has a good heart, a generous spirit and he has impacted many lives while working with the City, including mine. It will not be the same here without him."
Thank you Adolph!

Look at the spread! How about those gifts? Congratulations Adolph.
