Equipment Operator II Anthony Seward serves the Fayetteville Regional Airport (FAY) in many ways. He mows the airfield and retains adequate grass heights for pilots to read navigational aids for safe maneuvering. Furthermore, during the winter months, Seward keeps runways and taxiways free of snow and ice utilizing the Airport’s snow plows. These efforts are key to on-going and safe operations at FAY.
While completing these tasks within the time frame of his employment, Seward was able to successfully follow the Airport’s philosophy of perpetual learning by completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and obtaining a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He earned both degrees at Fayetteville State University. Lastly, Seward is going further and is currently working to earn a Doctoral Degree in History from Liberty University.
