(Fayetteville, NC) – On Tuesday, February 21, at approximately 12:00 pm, Demonte Deon Jones (B/M, 27 years of age) of the 6400 block of Rockford Drive turned himself into authorities at the Cumberland County Detention Center. (Fayetteville, NC) – On Monday, February 20, 2017, members of the Fayetteville Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located a wanted subject in the passenger seat of a 2009 Toyota Venza in the area of Fisher Road and Strickland Bridge Road. The wanted subject was identified as Demonte Deon Jones (B/M, 27 years of age) of the 6400 block of Rockford Drive. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Joseph Matthew Jackson (W/M, 25 years of age) of the 3300 block of Dandelion Lane.

(Fayetteville, NC) – On February 10, 2017 at approximately 12:30 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to assist the North Carolina State Highway Patrol with a suspect who had fled on foot during the course of a traffic stop along Santa Fe Drive near Yadkin Road. During the investigation, officers located felonious amounts of narcotics in the vehicle as well as a stolen handgun. The NC SHP initially conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for a red light violation and the suspicion of driving while impaired.
