Suspect Arrested for Attempted Rape

(Fayetteville, NC) – On April 18, 2017, Detectives with the FPD’s Special Victims Unit charged and arrested Henry Lee Williams (B/M, 56 years of age) of the 1900 block of Camden Road for Attempted 2nd Degree Rape, Attempted 2nd Degree Sex Offense, Assault by Strangulation and 2nd Degree Kidnapping,

The charges are in connection with the investigation of an attempted sexual assault on a female acquaintance that occurred on April 18, 2017. Henry Lee Williams was processed and is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond.
