Press Conference

(Fayetteville, NC) – On Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 3:00 pm, the Fayetteville Police Department will hold a press conference concerning the murder of Calvin Louis Blackshire Jr, that occurred on January 19, 2017 at the Motel 6 on Cedar Creek Road.

During the press conference, family members of Blackshire will be present as Detectives with the FPD’s Homicide Unit continue to investigate this fatal shooting.  All members of the media are invited to attend the press conference, which will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.

Members of the media may assemble in the main lobby of the Fayetteville Police Department and will be escorted to the media room.  Additional information will be released at the press conference.
